Jon Stewart and Pete Davidson Are Hosting a Charity Comedy Event for the 20th Anniversary of 9/11

Jon Stewart and Pete Davidson are hosting a comedy event called “New York City Still Rising After 20 Years: A Comedy Celebration”.  ALL proceeds will go to 9/11 charities.

This event hits personally for them.  As you might know Pete lost his firefighter father on 9/11.  And Jon has been a fierce advocate for the victims and first responders, even taking the fight for healthcare funding to Congress.

In a joint statement they said, “We wanted to put on a fun celebration to honor this great city’s resilience.  It’s nice to be able to do this with friends and people we love.”

Other performers will include John MulaneyJimmy FallonWanda SykesBill BurrDave Chappelle, and Amy Schumer.

The event will take place on Sunday, September 12th at Madison Square Garden, and all attendees will be required to show proof of vaccination.  Tickets go on sale tomorrow at noon EST on Ticketmaster.
