After last week’s game between the Yankees and the White Sox in Iowa, everybody’s talking about “Field of Dreams”. So it makes sense that this news would drop now.
A TV series based on the movie has been given the green light at NBC’s Peacock streaming service. Not much is known about it yet, except that it’s being developed by Mike Schur, the guy who created “The Good Place”.
His other credits include “Parks and Rec”, “The Office”, “SNL”, and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”. But “Field of Dreams” will be a drama, NOT a comedy.
