School may not be your thing, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be successful.  Take it from this list of celebrities, who all dropped out of college.

1.  Oprah Winfrey . . . She went to Tennessee State University, but dropped out before graduation to pursue broadcasting gigs.

2.  Tom Hanks . . . He left Sacramento State University to intern at the Great Lakes Theater Festival in Cleveland.

3.  Brad Pitt . . . He went to the University of Missouri to become a journalist, but left early to go to California.

4.  Ben Stiller . . . He studied film at UCLA, but left to go back to New York to act.

5.  Ellen DeGeneres . . . She left the University of New Orleans early for odd jobs before starting her standup career.

6.  Ashton Kutcher . . . He studied biochemical engineering at the University of Iowa, but dropped out to pursue modeling and acting.

7.  John Mayer . . . He went to Berklee College of Music, but left to move to Atlanta with Zac Brown Band member Clay Cook.

8.  Zooey Deschanel . . . She left Northwestern University to pursue acting.

9.  Ryan Seacrest . . . He dropped out of the University of Georgia to move to California.

10.  Eddie Murphy . . . He dropped out of New York’s Nassau Community College, but soon after landed a spot on “Saturday Night Live”.
