So we’re back to guest hosts for “Jeopardy!”, at least for the time being. But the first one out of the gate isn’t very exciting.
It’s Mayim Bialik, who not only already guest-hosted, but has already been chosen as the permanent host for “Jeopardy!” primetime specials. She’s taping 15 episodes, which is three weeks’ worth.
More guest hosts will be announced as production continues. The new season of “Jeopardy!” kicks off September 13th.
Executive producer Mike Richards was supposed to be the new, permanent host, but he got run out of town on a rail after inappropriate comments he made on a podcast years ago came back to haunt him.
Before he stepped down, he taped five episodes, and they WILL air before Mayim takes over.
