Spoiler Alert:  Neil Patrick Harris does NOT appear on Season 1 of the Disney+ reboot “Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.”  He WANTED to be, but they just couldn’t make it happen.

The show’s creator says, “With the pandemic, and Neil has a family in New York, and so many things going on, bandwidth-wise, it didn’t work out.”

But Neil told the show that he would love to do something on Season 2, if there is one.  So hopefully they can make it happen.

There’s no word if he would play Doogie Howser, or if Doogie Howser even exists in this reboot’s universe.

The show launches on Disney+ on September 8th.
