Monica Lewinsky has come a long way since, you know. One thing she’s never received after all these years is an apology from Bill Clinton. But that’s okay.
On the “Today” show yesterday, Savannah Guthrie asked her if she would want one. And she said, “There was a long period before my life changed in the last six or seven years where I felt a lot in terms of there not being this resolution.”
Then she added, “I’m very grateful that I don’t have that feeling anymore. I don’t need it. He should want to apologize in the same way I want to apologize any chance I get to people my actions have hurt.” (Here’s video.)
The first episode of “Impeachment: American Crime Story” premiered on FX last night. Monica is one of the producers.
