In case you haven’t noticed, we recently entered that moment in history where Britney Spears either takes control of her own life and starts living like a responsible adult.
Or she regresses back to the unsupervised train wreck who did things like shave her head and reproduce with Kevin Federline. And it’ll be up to history to decide which fork in the road she took.
What we do know for sure is that she just took another big step, by getting engaged to her boyfriend Sam Asghari.
She showed off the ring on Instagram yesterday, along with the caption, “I can’t [effing] believe it.” (Here’s another pic posted to Sam’s Instagram.)
This is a pretty low-key relationship, but it’s also a pretty long one. Britney and Sam met in 2016, when he did her “Slumber Party” video. She’s 39, he’s 27.
