We already know that Laurence Fishburne isn’t in “The Matrix Resurrections”. But now we also know that his character, Morpheus, IS.
In the trailer that just came out, Yahya Abdul-Mateen the Second looks a lot like a young Morpheus. And he just confirmed it by captioning a photo of himself with “Morpheus”.
In a past interview, Laurence had said, “I am not in the next ‘Matrix’ movie and you’d have to ask Lana Wachowski why, ’cause I don’t have an answer for that.”
“The Matrix Resurrections” hits theaters and HBO Max on December 22nd.
