Pinhead is getting a female rebirth.  Jamie Clayton from “The L Word: Generation Q” is going to be the new Hell Priest, ESS in a “Hellraiser” reboot for Hulu.

The original creator Clive Barker will return as a producer.  Just last year he was able to reclaim his rights to the “Hellraiser” franchise.

Clive said, “Having seen some of the designs, they pay homage to what the first film created, but then take it to places it’s never been before”

Then went on to say, “This is a ‘Hellraiser’ on a scale that I simply didn’t expect, what excites me is their desire to honor the original even as they revolutionize it for a new generation.”
