Getting into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is hard enough. But some people have been inducted more than once. Here are some of those names:
1. Eric Clapton is the only artist who’s in there THREE times, with the Yardbirds, Cream, and as a solo artist.
2. Jimmy Page. The Yardbirds and Led Zeppelin.
3. Jeff Beck. Another Yardbird, who’s also in as a solo artist.
4. The Beatles. All four members are also in the Hall as solo artists.
5. Ronnie Wood. He’s in there with the Rolling Stones AND the Faces.
6. Rod Stewart. Another member of the Faces, but he was inducted as a solo artist first.
7. Stevie Nicks. She was inducted with Fleetwood Mac and as a solo artist.
8. Tina Turner. She was inducted with her husband Ike in 1991, and next weekend she’ll be inducted by herself.
9. Dave Grohl. He’s already in for Nirvana, and this year he goes in as a member of the Foo Fighters.
10. Michael Jackson. He’s in as a solo artist and a member of the Jackson 5.
11. Carole King. She was inducted in 1990 in a NON-PERFORMING category, as a songwriter. But this year she’s going in as a solo artist.
12. Curtis Mayfield. He’s in as a member of the Impressions, and as a solo artist.
13. Crosby, Stills and Nash: Graham Nash is also in as a member of the Hollies, David Crosby is also in with the Byrds, and Stephen Stills was inducted with Buffalo Springfield the same night as CSN.
14. Neil Young: He went in as a solo artist in 1995, but refused to attend when Buffalo Springfield was inducted two years later, because he didn’t like that they were televising it.
