The term “dad bod” has been around for a few years now. That’s where you’ve still got some muscle tone, but don’t shy away from pizza and beer. And now clothing companies have started to cater to that look.
According to a new report, more and more men’s t-shirts are tighter up top to accentuate your chest and show off the guns, but looser around the waist to make room for a gut. So, kind of like the opposite of a “slim fit.”
We haven’t seen the term “dad bod fit” used yet. But brands like True Classic tees are specifically going after the dad bod demographic. They’re marketing their shirts to guys who feel like they’re between sizes, where XL is too baggy up top, but a large is too tight around the waist.
