The “People’s Choice Awards” announced their nominees yesterday. Here are some highlights:
For the movie categories, “F9” leads with eight nominations, including “Movie of 2021,” and actor nominations for Vin Diesel, Charlize Theron, and John Cena. “Black Widow” follows with six nominations, “Movie of 2021” and actor nominations for Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh.
Other nominees for “Movie of 2021” include “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”, “No Time to Die”, and “Dune”.
For TV, nominees for “The Show of 2021” include “Cobra Kai”, “Loki”, “WandaVision”, and “Grey’s Anatomy”.
In music, nominees for “Group of 2021” include BTS, Coldplay, Jonas Brothers, and Twenty One Pilots.
The “Female Artist” category includes Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, and Adele. And the “Male Artist” category includes Drake, Lil Nas X, Justin Bieber, and Ed Sheeran.
