This is what you want from your viral marketing:  Paramount hired a guy to promote “Scream 6” by hanging around Sonoma Plaza in California dressed as the killer, Ghostface.

Well, people who didn’t know he was being paid called 911, and police had to figure out what was going on.

The studio chose an interesting spot, given that scenes from the original “Scream” were filmed in the area back in 1996.  “Scream 6” hits theaters next Friday.
