Typically people say things like “the original was better” after seeing a movie sequel.  But that’s not always the case.

“Entertainment Weekly” put together a list of sequels that ARE actually better than the original.  It won’t surprise you that 2017’s “Paddington 2” made the cut, after all it held a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes for some time.

Here are nine other superior sequels, in no particular order:
