Remember when you were a kid and you’d mix all the sodas together to make “a suicide”, “swamp water”, or “a graveyard”? Well, you might be able to do that with Ketchup now.
Kraft Heinz has introduced a new machine that will let you create your own special sauce blend. These things could pop up at restaurants, cafeterias, or stadiums, around where a soda machine might be.
Here’s how it works: You pick a BASE, which includes stuff like: Ketchup, Ranch, 57 Sauce, and BBQ Sauce.
Then you can add in flavor “enhancers,” like jalapeño, smoky chipotle, buffalo, and mango. You can choose more than one, AND they can be added at low, medium, or high intensities.
The machine is called the Heinz Remix, and it’s just a prototype for now, but they’re hoping to start getting it into restaurants later this year.
(Here’s an idea of what the Heinz Remix could look like.)
Nearly 15 years ago, Coca-Cola started letting soda fans mix their own flavors with its Freestyle fountains. Now, Kraft Heinz wants to do the same for dipping sauces. https://t.co/6Twyj95DBq
