Here are some random facts for you.

1.  A cup of live jellyfish provides just five calories, one-third the amount in a cup of celery.  You know, in case you were looking to expand your palate.  (???)

2.  Molly Ringwald wanted Viggo Mortensen to be in “Sixteen Candles”, because he actually kissed her during the audition and she said it made her, “weak in the knees.”  But the part went to Michael Schoeffling instead.

3.  Slavery is now illegal in every single country in the world.  Mauritania was the last country to abolish it, in 1981.  It’s not an actual crime everywhere though.

4.  There’s a federal law that bans living people from being featured on any currency.  It was a tradition started to avoid the appearance of a monarchy.

5.  The opposite of Stockholm syndrome is “Lima syndrome.”  That’s when kidnappers wind up sympathizing with their hostages.
